The beautiful Azadi Square, which is the most important square in Tbilisi, is 200 years old. A golden statue of a horse and rider stands on a pedestal in the middle of the square, known as the Statue of St. George. The statue was erected in 2006 and is a memorial to Georgia’s independence.
This square is the intersection of the main streets of the city, Leonidze Street, Rustaveli Street, Pushkin Street, and Leslidze Street.

Sulfur Spring Baths Tbilisi
Georgia’s famous sulfur baths in the Old City of Tbilisi are among the city’s most popular tourist attractions. Built between the 17th and 19th centuries, these baths have a classical Oriental style and are supplied by natural sources such as hot springs.

In the past, sulfur baths were so popular that about 60 baths were built, but today there are only 15 baths left. The most beautiful sulfur bath is the Orbeliani bath, which is also known as the blue bath due to the use of blue tiles. One of the prominent features of these baths is the traditional massage, which is very popular among tourists in Tbilisi.

It is interesting to know that this brick fortress is a masterpiece from the period of Iranian rule and was built in the fourth century by the Safavids. Later, in the courtyard of the complex, the Church of St. Nicholas was built, which dates back to the 12th century. In this church, you can see paintings and engravings from the history of Georgia.
